  • The research teams and the general objectives of the project were presented.
  • The work packages, deliverables, and milestones were analyzed.
  • The implementation schedule (Gantt chart) was presented, highlighting the critical months.
  • The quantity of olives needed for the first year’s fermentations and for the analyses in subsequent years was determined.
  • The quantity of brine from previous fermentation of table olives was determined to produce a hydroxytyrosol-rich extract.
  • The research protocols that each organization (AUA, NKUA, AUTh) intends to implement were discussed.
  • Dissemination, communication, and exploitation actions were discussed, and the need for a unified project promotion strategy was agreed upon.
  • It was ensured that throughout the implementation of the project there will be at least two external partners with active contracts, in full compliance with the terms and requirements of the call.
  • The next meeting was scheduled before the end of the first year, or earlier if necessary.
